New GTA 5 Screenshots Shows Skydiving, Miniguns & more

Excitement of GTA V is once more at a fever pitch today following the official unveiling of 10 new screenshots and the game that never seems to evade the public eye is once more very much within the public consciousness. Rockstar released a batch of new Grand Theft Auto 5 screens this morning, which once again shows the city of Los Santos at a number of striking angles. There's high, low, underwater, on the roads, in the clouds, and ablaze avec minigun. GTA V is one of the biggest games that is going to launch this year. It is of no doubt. The game was supposed to be released this month but then delayed until September 2013. Explaining the move, they said: "The only reason we've delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be." It's been over a month since we heard anything regarding Grand Theft Auto V, but Rockstar broke its silence today by releasing some brand-new screenshots of the game. They arrive just days after Rockstar apologised to fans frustrated by the recent lack of updates on the Xbox 360 and PS3 game. A bunch of 10 images were released which shows a wide variety of things that include sky-diving, deep-sea diving and what looks to be a young thug firing off a mini gun. Rockstar Games also released a few scenic shots of Los Santos showing off a gorgeous view of some mountains, a beautiful sunset and a storm brewing over a boardwalk. It is going to be a tough 6 month wait for Grand Theft Auto V, but as long as Rockstar continues with updates like this, then we think we'll all be able to survive until the game is officially released. Until then, suck up as much as you can from today's screenshots. We can't wait to play this and lose hundreds of hours of life on it. In the meantime, sit here in awe and be amazed at the latest look at Grand Theft Auto V. Each of the game's three protagonists are seen in the shots. Trevor is being chased by a police SUV in GTA V. Franklin is shooting up a city street with a minigun. Michael, meanwhile, is sitting on a luxury car. The screenshots also show some sort of leisure activities players can engage in. Scuba diving has been confirmed for the second time. Same as with skydiving. The game looks like it'll have as much gameplay diversity as GTA: San Andreas, the final entry in the series from last generation. The studio said last week:
"As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don't do this because we 'don't care about our fans', 'don't respect our fans', 'hate GTA fans etc' - precisely the opposite!".
