Sony Xperia Tablet Z will be available from the end of this May. This has been confirmed by
Sony through
Xperia Blog. Last week, this latest news on the matter when a well known UK retailer pegged the
Xperia Tablet Z as arriving on May 20. And now the company itself is saying almost the same thing.
According to
Sony's official website, the tablet is listed as deliverable starting on
May 28 or May 29, so "end of May" may in fact be just that. Still, what's a week or so between friends?
There was some confusion regarding the release time frame of
Xperia Tablet Z.
Pre-order customers were initially told to expect their tablet to arrive between
April 12 and 15, but
Sony has now confirmed that this information was sent out in error and apologised for the inconvenience caused. In
UK, it is expected to be out in mid-April, thanks to none else than a Sony store listing. That now seems to have been made in error, and things have been rectified since. Apparently the new tablet was always supposed to arrive at the end of next month, so there's no delay here to speak of. Or so Sony says. We'll never know for sure, obviously. Anyway, if the
Tablet Z is something you crave, you'll have to somehow be patient for almost two months from this point on. Hard, but not impossible we presume.
