It was a surprising decision for most of the people. They finally decided to draf Brendon McCullum into the side, replacing Senanyake. S Ladda was also left out for Shami Ahmed. Mike Hussey and Saha gave a brilliant start and made a partnership of 103 runs for the 1st wicket. Saha used the chance given to him by replacing Vijay at the top of the order. He got out in the 11th over after scoring 39 runs from just 23 balls. Hussey played a wonderful innings and caught on the boundary after making 95 runs from 59 balls. He is now in form at the moment and is most likely to move in any international XI, even if he got retired. Raina and Dhoni finished things very well. Raina run out on 44 from 25 balls, carrying Super Kings to 200 on dot. The whole Kolkata balling line up was punished, even Narine for 35 runs from his 4 overs. It all showed that Chennai was prepared to attack everyone. Bisla and Gambhir opened the innings for the Knight Riders and gave a lightning start. Gambhir was bowled in the 3rd over on the score of 32 by Morris. McCullum came at number 3 and clean bowled by Sharma. Kallis and Bisla looked to get things back on track but Bravo sent back Kallis to pavilion for 19. Kolkata was still in the hunt as Bisla was still there for it. But he perished in the cause when he was run out by Hussey. This left just too much for Kolkata, andeven though Morgan gave them a sniff, with 19 required off the final over, Chris Morris bowled it going for just 4runs, giving Chennai a 14 runs win.Toss: Kolkata won the toss, and elected to field
