LG on Sunday announced that its
 Optimus F5 [also known as the Verizon Lucid 2] smartphone will launch globally starting with France on April 29.    LG had announced its F series of 
Android smartphones earlier in the year at MWC, & now it has officially launched the devices. Starting tomorrow, LG will roll out the Optimus F5 in Europe, but over the next few weeks it will make an appearance in Asia, Central America & South America. This also means that the Optimus F5 could be coming to India pretty soon. Only a few days ago the company had announced its intentions to bring the Optimus G Pro to India.    The LG Optimus F5 will also be released in a variety of other markets in the coming weeks, including South & Central America, Asia & the Commonwealth of Independent States.  The device which was initially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February, has no price tag as yet. Launching initially in France, LG will roll out the Optimus F5 in South & Central America, Asia & the Common-wealth of Independent States [CIS] over the next several weeks.

         Pricing details for the Optimus F5 have not been mentioned for the France launch yet, but considering the handset is not a flagship device, you're likely to get a good deal on it when purchasing it with a new carrier contract.    But According to our source its price will be around Rs 20000 (INR) .
