Water and Dust Resistant Sony Xperia ZR Rumoured

xperia zr specsThe water proof and dust resistant treatment give to the Xperia Z have earned the Sony many fans and it is likely to bring these features in many smartphones. The company is making an extremely interesting device which will feature a higher level of resistance than the earlier one. According to Rumours, Sony is going to launch one more weather proof smartphone later in 2013. This mystery handset comes into rumours from the Xperia Blog, which is claiming to have it on 'good authority' that a similar phone is under process. Till now, there is not a single image available of the phone to come with the rumoured specs. Is there anything special about this Xperia ZR phone besides the rumoured IP55/58 certification. Well not much, yet. From the rumouring specs sheet, this one seems to be an elder sibling of the Xperia SP, which was just launched in India. It is suppossed to have codename Dogo and if we can look at smartphone of Sony launches last year, it may debut at IFA Berlin in September.

When this will be launched?. We have not heard about the launch of this smartphone. Let's wait for official date from Sony about the launch and price of this smartphone. For you info, that at the beginning of this month, Xperia SP will launch in India at a price of 25,500. This Japanese Company is also making other handsets like a phablet is also believed to be in work. If it is true, Sony could be readying itself to help to become the number 3 smartphone maker in the world. One more important thing, Sony has launched an AOSP programme for the Xperia Z and will drive development of Android Software and features.
