Emraan plays the title character in Ghanchakkar - a suave safe-cracker who likes the finer things in life. He decides to pull off one last heist which leads to unexpected confusion & chaos. Ghanchakkar is directed by Rajkumar Gupta. Confirming the news, he said, "It is a very quirky video. It will be shot with Vidya. It is basically dedicated to men. The lyrics are something that women would relate to." In the two-minute-long trailer the basic contours of the plot are revealed. Hashmi & his two associates rob a bank together wearing Amitabh, Dharmendra & Utpal Dutt masks. Hashmi stashes away the money promising to split it later. However, when his associates call to claim the loot, Hashmi refuses to recognise them. The disgruntled partners kidnap Hashmi with the intention of torturing him into confessing where he has hidden the cash. But to their dismay, they discover that he has lost his memory & doesn't know himself where the money is. Hashmi is shown again that the memory is gone & he does not even remember Kucu.
