RCB vs PWI result - Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 130 runs

fastest century in t20 match

Chris Gayle during hitting his fastest century.

The match ends with a thumping victory of Bangalore. This victory is the second biggest victory in terms of runs in IPL. Frankly speaking, this match was only one man show. Gayle blew up Pune away himself. Their chase was never going to be caught by PWI at any time. This innings is one of those which will be shown for many years to come. A number of records were broke and new are setup by Chris Gayle.
  • smashing 175 unbeaten and hitting 17 sixes to broke the record of the largest score in a twenty20 match. Now, it is the hightest individual score in T20 cricket.
  • quickest century with just 30 deliveries.
Just amazing hitting and I am not sure that will ever be beaten.

I don't think that i have to tell who is man of the match, he is none other than Caribbean blaster Chris Gayle. Man of the Match Chris Gayle not only scored 175 runs in just 66 balls (13 boundaries and 17 sixes) but also took 2 wickets by just giving 5 runs.
