Emraan Hashmi is excellent in his part and marks his strong presence instead of three female actresses in the film. Huma Qureshi is less impressive in this one than her first two outings – Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana. Kalki Koechlin has justified her part well and Pawan Malhotra as Hashmi's father is memorable. A special mention here for the curly haired Vishesh Tiwari who nails it as the young Bobo. Critics have appreciated the storyline of Ek Thi Daayan and actors performances. Emraan Hashmi's role has been particularly commended. So, watch out this one to thrill yourself with some supernatural and paranormal activities that will certainly help you create your own insight whether Daayan exists or its just an illusion.
