Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart Revealed

First image of Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, formerly The Mechanical Heart is revealed. It was published while showing off their releases for the rest of this year. It was published in a prospectus by Europa Films. In the text you'll see the film compared to both Edward Scissorhands and Belleville Rendez-Vous. Because it's French and features a mechanical character? Sounds about right.

Jack and the Cuckoo-clock Heart

Thanks to Animation Focus for the image. The film was adapted by Mathias Malzieu from his own novel. This movie is  co-directed by Malzieu and Stephane Berla. I hope it's good- it looks a little cold, but that might be part of the style.
