  • India Whacked England by 7 wickets in third one-day international of the five-match series at JSCA Stadium [ranchi] on Saturday.
  • India bowled out England for a meagre 155 in 42.2 overs after putting the visitors in to bat in the third ODI at the newly built HEC International Cricket Stadium.

  • Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets, while R Ashwin & Ishant Sharma bagged two wickets each for India.
  • Gambhir & Virat Kohli took India past 50-run mark to resurrect Indian innings after losing Ajinkya Rahane early. The Delhi duo went on to add 67-run stand for the second wicket to lay the solid foundation for India & put England on the backfoot.
  • Local boy MS Dhoni finished off the game with a pull shot to take India past the England total with seven wickets to spare. This victory gives India a 2-1 lead in the five-match ODI series.
