Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to come with 6.3 inch Touch Screen?

Just a day after announcing the one of the most popular smartphones of 2012 Samsung Galaxy S4 (5-inch, quad-core powered) Samsung has posted the details of the device on its website. Oddly enough, it seems one of the accessory listings has potentially tipped off the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, a device that is said to be arriving at some point later on this year. Samsung may have just spilled confirmation that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 6.3-inch display in the launch materials for its Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. The South Korean manufacturer has launched a flashy microsite to show off its new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, which was unveiled at New York in an event last night. However, if you click on the Accessories section and scroll right a couple of times, you'll find that Samsung is planning a Game Pad peripheral for its powerful 5-inch phone.

That's interesting enough as it is, but take note of the second bullet-point, which claims that the supported screen sizes are 4-inch to 6.3-inch.

We know that Samsung has produced 4-inch smartphones since the days of the original Samsung Galaxy S, but there's no 6.3-inch device in the range. But 6.3 inch SMARTPHONE ! not yet.

Samsung Galaxy Note Rumours

Back in January, we have heard that the next Galaxy Note phablet from Samsung may come with a 6.3-inch touchscreen. Of course in the meantime 5.9 inches has also been rumored as the screen size for the Galaxy Note III, but it may just be that this fall we'll see a 6.3-inch device from Samsung. That appeared to be quite a jump from the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but with the Samsung Galaxy S4 weighing in with a 5-inch display, the Note range is going to have to expand in order to remain relevant. Now it appears as if Samsung itself has confirmed the rumours of a 6.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Here's hoping they officially launch it with a little more restraint than they did last night. Another rumor has suggested that the Galaxy Note 3 will have a 5.8-inch display to go along with its quad-core Exynos 5 Octa processor, but given the listing here, it may be that the former size is correct. We probably won't know for sure whether this was a slip-up from Samsung or just a coincidence for a few weeks, or even months. But this is interesting nevertheless.
