The 55th Annual Grammy Awards, one of the biggest night for all the musicians across the globe took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles on sunday. 
LL Cool J was served as host of the Grammy Awards ceremony. He introduced many of the nominees and reminisced about seeing Michael Jackson cradling an armful of Grammys in 1984. "That magical image inspired me to go after my own dreams," he said, "and the same is true for many of us in this great hall tonight." LL Cool J added to his words. Taylor Swift kicked off the night with a theatrical performance of her song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Carrie Underwood and dozens more performed during the Awards show. The quirky New York City band Fun took the best new artist award, and song of the year for "We Are Young." Other winners announced during the star-studded event included folk act Mumford & Sons, for album of the year ("Babel"), and Gotye for record of the year ("Somebody That I Used to Know"). Faith Hill and Tim McGraw present the award for song of the year. The group Fun. accepts the song of the year Grammy for "We Are Young." The song, which became a singalong anthem after it was released in late 2011, hit No. 1 in the spring. 
The late Ravi Shankar won the world music Grammy for his "Traveller." The prize was accepted by his daughter Anoushka, who was also nominated. "It's two months tomorrow since he passed away. I'm just really proud that he was making records right to the end. … If he were here, he would thank my mom," she said. Adele accepts her Grammy for pop solo performance for "Set Fire to the Rain." "I just want to send massive big love to all the other girls ... [who] all work so hard and make it look so easy," she said. Pitbull gave away the award to Adele. Al Walser's Grammy dream turned into reality this year. He lost the dance recording prize to Skrillex's "Bangarang" featuring Sirah. Of note was the dead silence in the room when Walser's name was read. "It's crazy to be here again," Skrillex said. "I was on tour and I had this beat and the energy was really raw. The whole premise of it was just like 'Peter Pan,' never growing up." Skrillex then immediately won the dance/electronica album prize for "Bangarang." He brought up everyone on stage who worked with him, but as Skrillex swept the dance awards. There's no rap artist recognized in the album of the year field, but Drake's "Take Care" took the rap album prize. 
"Yay," said Taylor Swift as she accepted the Grammy for "Safe & Sound," which won for song written for visual media. "Safe & Sound" was featured in "The Hunger Games" but was not nominated for an Oscar. "This is unbelievable," Swift said. "I just want to thank my collaborators for working with me — the Civil Wars and T Bone Burnett. You guys were awesome. We just won a Grammy." John Paul White of the Civil Wars, who may be broken up at the moment, joked of working with Swift, "We've been carrying her for a while and it's getting a little tiring." Rihanna also won the first Grammy of the day. Her "We Found Love" featuring Calvin Harris takes the prize for short-form music video. There were many fantabulous performances from the stars from all around. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Mumford & many other rocked the stage with their performances. The Grammy drought for the Beach Boys also finished. The historical album trophy goes to the Beach Boys for "The Smile Sessions," a 2011 set commemorating the long-lost album begun by the Beach Boys and Van Dyke Parks in the mid-'60s and eventually released as "Brian Wilson Presents Smile" in 2004. Wilson was there to accept the prize, and he kept it curt. "Van Dyke Parks and I knew we were very ahead of our time in 1965. In 2004 we released it. Good." And away we go. This is the Beach Boys' first-ever Grammy win. The band did receive a lifetime achievement award in 2001 and Wilson won a rock instrumental perforance Grammy in 2004 for his "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow." British Parliament MP's Search for Adult Content
An adult website has been opened a whopping 52,375 times from computers used by British MPs and their staff. "Out Of Town Affairs" brings together married men and women seeking sex,according to reports. 
It has been clicked on 52,375 times in just seven months via computers exclusively used by members of the houses of parliament and their employees. In one month, the website received 289 hits a day from parliament. In December 2012, it got more hits from parliamentary computers than the official websites for the treasury, justice ministry and education department. The website, which contains explicit pictures of subscribers, says, "We connect you with thousands of other married men and women looking for a marital affair or more heat in the bedroom." "Marital affairs in Britain (are) very popular with more and more unsatisfied married men and women looking to do the dirty (on) their partners whilst out of town," it says. Users are invited to contact "thousands of horny cheaters ready to get some action" by signing up for a fee of 25 pounds a month. The website also allows them to "write your own sex-date diary" and "read and send filthy messages". The owner of the website said he was surprised that MPs were visiting the site. "That's a lot of hits. It's got to be more than one person going on the site from parliament. 
I hope we don't get hate mail from parliamentary wives now," he added. Parliament officials are also spending time on online gambling, playing games and chatting on social network sites. There are thousands of hits on gambling websites, while i-am-bored.com, featuring videos, games and social networking had 21,371 hits in the last three months of 2012. Facebook clocked up 28 million hits over a year. A parliament spokesman said more than 5,000 people had access to parliamentary network computers but that the "Out Of Town Affairs" website has now been blocked. In December, the website received 8,457 page views from computers based in the heart of the country's democracy. In November, it reached 7,533 hits, in October, 8,971 hits, in August, 5,174, in July, 7,493, in June, 6,822 and in February the toll raised upto, 7,925. 'It's an adult dating site, but you market it as an affairs website because that's where all the Google searches come from. Computer gaming is a popular Westminster pastime too, with chess and solitaire websites accessed thousands of times a month. Online games such as FarmVille, Fairyland and Mafia Wars were also popular, while grooveshark.com, offering chart hits, received 709,740 hits in a year. Robert Oxley, campaign manager for the TaxPayers' Alliance said: "Taxpayers expect parliamentarians and their staff to spend their time making laws and scrutinising the Government, not looking for an affair."

Afzal Guru:Culprit of 2001 Parliament Attacks Hanged
Mohammed Afzal Guru, who played a major role in the deadly 2001 parliament attacks on Saturday after his final mercy plea was rejected by President Pranab Mukherjee hanged till death. 
A former fruit seller & the only alive culprit of the attacks of 2001, was hanged at Tihar Jail at around 8am, becoming only the second person to be hanged in India in nearly a decade after Ajmal Kasab, the terrorist from 26/11 Mumbai attacks, officials said. "Yes, he has been hanged," home secretary RK Singh said. "President Pranab Mukherjee rejected Afzal Guru's mercy petition on Feb 3." "My information is that he will be buried in the campus but it's the jail authorities who will go by jail manual," he added. 
Guru was found guilty of conspiring with and sheltering the militants who attacked the Parliament in December 2001, an incident that brought nuclear-armed India and Pakistan to the brink of war. He was also held guilty of being a member of the banned Islamist group Jaish-e-Mohammed, which fights against Indian rule in the divided Himalayan region of Kashmir, where a separatist conflict has claimed up to 100,000 lives. Five armed rebels stormed the Parliament complex in New Delhi on December 13, 2001, killing eight police officers and a gardener before they were shot dead by security forces. A journalist wounded in the attack died months later. A year later, four accused, including Afzal Guru, were arrested for the attack and found guilty after a trial. Security forces imposed a curfew Saturday in parts of Indian-administered Kashmir while the centre of the main city Srinagar was sealed off by police after the execution of a separatist. Troops in large numbers have been fanned out in Kashmir valley. Guru's conviction, which has been delayed on several occasions, was both highly political and hotly contested. He described his imprisonment as a "gross miscarriage of justice" in his mercy appeal to the president. Guru was initially convicted along with Shaukat Hussain, a former student at Delhi University and SAR Geelani, a New Delhi college teacher, who were also handed the death sentence, reserved for the "rarest of rare" cases in India. Their crimes were described as "horrendous, revolting and dastardly" by the Indian judge who tried them. Guru's wife, Afsan Guru, who was found guilty of not disclosing information to police, was also sentenced to five years in prison but had her conviction overturned on appeal. 
Geelani was also released on appeal after two-years of imprisonment, adding to the doubts about the initial trial. 2 persons were injured by security forces in Baramulla district when local residents came out to protest against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. While Bilal Ahmad Gojri injured his thigh after being hit by a teargas shell during protests at Azadgunj in Baramulla town, Firdous Ahmad was hit by a bullet in the arm at Doabgah in Sopore area the hometown of Guru. Guru's family claimed that they were not informed about the execution or rejection of the mercy plea by the President. "We had no idea, we were woken up by people, got to know when things were being debated and posted on facebook," said Yaseen Guru. "We have gotten no letter, no family member has been informed as opposed to what the government is claiming," he added. "He was very peaceful and calm during the final moments. He looked very composed," a top Tihar Jail official said. A resident of Sopore in north Kashmir, 43-year-old Guru was executed at 8 AM near Jail No.3 in a top-secret operation. A magistrate, a doctor and senior prison officials were present during his execution. Another official said Guru was woken up at around 5 AM and was served tea. He offered Namaz immediately after getting up. "He was taken to the gallows at 7:30am," the official said. Asked whether he was remorseless in his final moments, Director General of Prisons Vimla Mehra said, "He was happy and healthy. That answers your question." A doctor carried out a health check up of Guru before he was taken to gallows near his cell. Mehra said normal procedure was followed in the hanging. His body was buried inside the prison complex soon after his execution. "He (Guru) was buried near Jail No.3 with full religious rites," said another Tihar Jail official.
